Many Very Unique Items Up for Bid in the Auction Portion of
10th Annual Busch Sport Scene Snowmobile Ride for Charity
(Rangeley, ME) The 10th Annual Busch Sport Scene Snowmobile Ride for Charity will take place on Saturday, January 31st, at the Club House Restaurant in Rangeley, Maine. After the optional snowmobile ride during the day, there will be plenty of entertainment that evening. As always, there will be well over 100 items up for grabs in the raffle portion of the event, which runs approximately from 6PM to 7PM, during the supper hour.

The always entertaining live auction will begin at approximately 7PM. This year auctioneer George 'Soup' Campbell will be joined by special guest auctioneer Larry Myles. Myles is a professional comedian who's resume includes appearances on MTV, The Comedy Channel and a role on NBC's hit TV show Law & Order.

One of the highlights in last years auction was a signed baseball donated by the Boston Red Sox of 2008 MVP Dustin Pedroia. This years auction will feature signed baseballs from Red Sox stars Jon Papelbon, Jason Bay and Justin Masterson. There will also be signed Patriots, Celtics and Bruins items up for grabs. - including an NFL signed football from Patriots star Ted Bruschi!
As always, there will also be plenty of NASCAR items for the many race fans in the audience. Signed memorabilia from such stars as Kein Harvick, Martin Truex and Joey Logano. There will great items including drivers suits and crew uniforms as well.

Many great race tracks have donated ticket packages for the auction. Tracks with major NASCAR events such as Dover International Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Watkins Glen International. Local tracks like Oxford Plains Speedway and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway have also made generous donations to the event again this year. We even have Portland Sea Dogs tickets for the baseball fans in the crowd!
There will also be some very special packages donated by some race teams that will offer race fans a chance to become part of a race team for a weekend. Crewmember of the week packages that will allow the highest bidder to bring a friend and join a team at a race of their choice. They will actually be with the team in the pits and on pit road! This is a once in a lifetime deal for some race fans, a very unique opportunity.
There will be a popular 'raffle hour' prior to the auction. There are well over 100 great items being raffled off during the supper hour, between 6-7PM. Tickets are $1 each or a dozen for just $10. There will be gift certificates, hats, t-shirts, signed sports memorabilia and much more in the raffle.
Following the auction will be a comedy show featuring nationally known comedians Larry Myles and Rob Steen. Rob is a favorite of this event, having performed at this event several times in the past. His resume includes several appearances on the David Letterman Show as well as performances on MTV and the Comedy Channel.
Credentials for the event can be purchased for $10 in advance either at the Club House, the Rangeley Chamber or from Busch Sport Scene. The tickets will be $15 the day of the event. Busch Sport Scene is a New England based sports magazine. Current Busch Sport Scene subscribers will receive a $5 discount on the day of the event, as will NASCAR, PASS & ACT team members that present their licenses.
The $15 ride credential also gets you admission into the full night of entertainment at the Club House that evening. There will be dinner specials and drink specials exclusively for those with a ride credential. The proceeds from the ride will all go to several great charities including the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maine Special Olympics, Travis Roy Foundation, Rangeley Snowmobile Club, Busch Sport Scene Scholarship Fund and the Camping World Series Women's Auxiliary and their various charities.
